A 51Yrs woman had a fall from height. Developed severe neck pain and progressive weakness in all four limbs.
X-ray Cervical spine showed no much abnormalities. (Pic 1)
However, MRI Cervical spine showed fracture dislocation at C5-6 causing spinal cord injury.
She underwent Anterior cervical decompression and instrumentation.
Post operatively she showed good recovery and her neck pain also settled. After 3 month she was completely independent and ambulant.
